We had a fantastic time on our vacation to the island of Maui. The weather was awesome everyday which was refreshing as we escaped the soggy Pacific Northwest spring! We stayed in the Kaanapali area which is a great location if you ever go to Maui. Jewels loved the beach and swimming at the hotel pool. To her Hawaii was the beach. She asked us everyday if we were going to Hawaii, too cute! Myah loved the sunshine as well and was her happy content self the whole trip. The three hour time change meant that we were up pretty early (4-6 AM) most days which meant we always got an early start to the day.
Kim and I celebrated our 9th year of marriage on June 9th. Kim's sister Karen and her husband Thomas joined us on the trip and watched the girls that day so Kim and I could enjoy the day to ourselves and do some sightseeing. We had a wonderful day of fun in the sun and enjoying each other. Kim is wonderful and I am so blessed to have her as my beautiful wife.
